laurels, (modern) friendships & vogue.
adapting to life post-venice-graduation and back to consuming way too much media.
Some housekeeping:
I have set up a new (better) Instagram.
I am back to running,
and back to reading.

This was my graduation present to myself.
So last weekend I finally graduated. If you’ve been following me on LinkedIn or Insta I am sure you are sick of my spamming by now.
But in the small chance you have not - here you go:
It was a masters in Human Rights and Democratisation at the Global Campus of Human Rights - which was half in Venice, half in another EU country, which for me was Slovenia. The graduation was crazy over the top, but a very cool experience - with a string quartet, the prime minister of Kosovo, and many students in the traditional Italian graduation laurel (I loved it, very extra, very ott). I posted about it in a more long (and probably annoying) way on LinkedIn.
I can’t believe the year is over. It’s such a cliche but it feels like this year went so fast, but also feels like it’s been forever at the same time. It’s been a lot.
Feels like there is too much to say, and too much to sort out and plan. Will maybe get into it more next time.
For now I am back reunited with my cat, doing face masks, and tidying up my sock drawer.

I’ve just been binging this.
Forgot how much I enjoy fashion. Not in an air-head-y way, but in a way that high fashion is sometimes more like wearable sculpture. Super creative and expressive.

Two essay videos that I watched this weekend and thought were pretty interesting and insightful:
Is "true friendship" dead? - by Mina Le
You don’t need to be her: why the clean girl aesthetic is problematic - by Jessica Kellgren-Fozard
Things I would buy if I was more loaded at the moment:
I am gutted that it seems my size has sold out.
Or this trench by Alexa Chung for Barbour.
A new camera (the dream is a Leica).
Until next time,
